Handcrafted in a small shop in Thiers France, by fifth generation Master "Coutelier" Manu Laplace , ClassicShaving proudly presents the finest quality Gentleman's Pocket Knife.  Hand forged craftsmanship that cannot be excelled, this blade is as elegant as it is durable and practical.  The blade is 100 mm long, 3 mm thick, measuring 200 mm overall and made of 12C27 Sandvik Sweedish Stainless Steel hardened to Rockwell 58.

 This Hefty pocket Knife's smooth workings are a pleasure to unfold. The blade is guided by Teflon bushings which allow the blade to be opened and closed effortlessly, and secures with an easy-to-operate liner lock.  Upon opening this beautiful blade, you will find even the interior has not been forgotten by the Thiers craftsman.  This unusually detailed interior spinework work is as delicately chisled as one would expect in a fine piece of jewelry.  This quality handmade knife is available only in very limited quantities.

The Distinctive Manu Laplace Salamandre Knife has 2 visually contrasting materials of Ebony and Bone which are tenon jointed to form a rare and seductive handle.  The warm beauty of the ebony and bone compliments the cold polish of the Sweedish Stainless Steel. Decorative silver screws, tin presentation case and certificate of authentcity complete the package.
