Dovo has recreated a traditional design with this popular straight razor. The razor's handle is of a very convincing faux ivory. In a tribute to the cutlery capitol of the world, Solingen, Germany, the city's crest and hallmark are depicted on the front scale. Well balanced to the blade, the polished nickel bolstered handle offers exceptional hand control and a comfortable shave.
The razor's blade is equally classic. It begins as a surgical quality, stainless steel blank that is then tempered for hardness. Next a master craftsman shapes and grinds it into a 6/8 inch wide, full-hollow ground blade. In the finishing process, the blade is decorated and spine is etched. Shank is then brand-stamped on the front and the back. Finally, the razor is sharpened and mirror polished.
The many generations of experience that went into the making of this razor are evident when you first hold it in your hand. It will provide the finest shave possible for many generations to come.
