This Traditional and Very Masculine Design is one of DOVO's most popular models. The Handle is crafted of very convincing Imitation Tortoise Shell and is inlaid with the DOVO logo in Sterling Silver. It is perfectly matched to it's blade resulting in a precise balance - Better balance equals better control and a better shave.
The blade begins as a Forged High Carbon Steel blank that is then Tempered for Hardness. Next a Master Craftsman shapes and grinds it into a 5/8 Hollow Ground semi-finished blade. It's finishing is completed by adding File Jimps to the upper and lower sides of the shank, Brand Stamping the shank front and rear, and adding a 24k Gold Etched Brand to the front of the Blade. Finally it gets it's mirror polishing and sharpening.
