The blade begins as a Forged Surgical Stainless Steel blank that is then Ice Tempered for Hardness. Next a Master Craftsman shapes and grinds it into a 5/8 Full Hollow Ground Round Point semi-finished blade. It's finishing is completed by adding File Jimps to the underside of the shank, Brand Stamping the shank front and rear, and adding a 2-Color 24k Gold Etched Hallmark to the front of the Blade. Finally it gets it's mirror like polishing and final sharpening.
