This Very Affordable Straight Razor is the perfect choice for your first straight razor. No Frills and No High Price but no corners were cut in the Materials or Craftsmanship.
The razor's blade is forged from High Carbon Steel into a blank that is then Tempered for hardness. The blade takes shape in the hands of a Master Craftsman who shapes and grinds the blank into a semi-finished 6/8 Hollow Ground blade. The blade's finishing includes: Custom File Work to create the Jimps on the shank's Upper and Lower edge; Brand Stamps on the front and rear of the shank; Polishing to a mirror finish front and rear; and only then final sharpening and polishing.
