The blade begins as a Forged blank of High Carbon Surgical Quality Steel that is then Tempered for Hardness. Next a Master Craftsman shapes and grinds it into a 5/8 Full Hollow Ground semi-finished blade. It's finishing is completed by adding File Jimps to the lower side of the shank, Brand Stamping the shank front and rear, and adding a 24k Gold Plating to the full length of the spine, shank and tang. Finally it gets it's final polishing and sharpening. The beauty of this razor derives from its simplicity - No handle decoration just simple understated elegance!
