Stainless Steel "French Point" Straight Razor, 3/8

The Lightweight and Durable Synthetic Composite handle of this very special razor has been carefully matched to the blade's weight resulting in a perfect balance and allowing exquisite control of the razor. The handle does include a third pin/blade rest which increases handle stiffness and permits a firm grip.

The razor's blade is Surgical Quality Stainless Steel that has been forged into a blank and then Ice Tempered. Next the blade takes shape in the hands of a Master Craftsman who shapes and grinds the forged blank into a semi-finished 3/8 Wedge Ground blade. The blade's small size and swept-back "French Point" make it the ideal razor for use in close trimming and outlining of beards and moustaches.  

The blade's finishing includes: Brand Stamped Shank front and rear; File Jimps on the underside of the shank; Polishing to a mirror finish front and rear; 24k Gold Etched "DOVO-INOX" Branding, then final sharpening and polishing.
