This Two-Sided Paddle Style Razor Strop is made of all Natural Hardwood and Genuine "Russian Leather" The finest leather used for making razor strops.
It's hollowed core and Felt Padding under the leather provide just the right amount of resistance or "Spring" to maintain good blade contact and "Draw" while stropping. The reverse side is made up of a balsa wood base thoroughly coated with red sharpening compound. This side will restore an edge that has become dull through normal use. Finish your stropping on the fine Russian Leather for a perfect edge.
While sometimes used as a primary strop, paddle style strops serve particularly well for travelling due to their small size, light weight, and ability to be used without hanging. They also eliminate the need to carry a heavy razor hone.
