The Naniwa Super Stones are resin bonded stones and are fast cutting stones.
The Super Stones are 8 1/4 inches long by 2 ¾ inches wide and are 3/8 inch thick. They do not need to be soaked. Just a spray or splash of water over the surface is all you need. Each stone comes in its own sturdy plastic base with rubber feet.
The Naniwa Super Stones work well for everything from restoring an edge or repairing chips to simply touching up the edge.
As with most water stones, these stones will need to be lapped and caution should be used not to put excessive pressure on the edges as they can develop small chips.
