The traditional styling of our "American Classic Shaving Mug" has been the standard for nearly 200 years. Our Classic Shaving Mug is a exact replica of an Antique Victorian Mug - made exclusively for Classic Shaving in the USA. Our 100% Hand Made, Decorated and Lettered mug will surely become a favorite and a cherished family heirloom.

Executed in fine quality ceramic and heavily glazed for durability, this very special mug comes in a warm natural eggshell color. To complete the decoration an applied Fired Gold 19th Century Victorian Gingerbread design appears on the mug's front and rear and up to 6 letters of your choice, in Olde English style, in Fired Gold, are applied to the mug's front by our own artists in our in-house studio.

Includes one of our regular size soap cakes in your choice of scent. Refills listed separately.

- The Scuttle -

Our authentic "Classic English Victorian Shaving Scuttle" is actually Imported by us from England where it is executed in Cream Colored Fine Porcelain by artisans long experienced in making fine china and porcelain.

This traditional style of shaving scuttle became popular before the turn of the 20th Century when most homes did not enjoy hot running water. The bottom chamber of the scuttle was filled with hot water from the kitchen stove and carried to the bedroom shaving stand for use. After dipping the brush into the water in the bottom chamber it was then used on the soap cake held in the perforated soap dish on top to produce a lather. The perforations allowed excess water to drain back into the lower chamber preventing the soap from becoming softened. Still a practical method of maintaining adequate hot water at hand for the shave without having to waste water and energy by continual running.

Our exclusive scuttle includes custom personalization with up to 6 letters of your choice, in Olde English style, and delicate accents all done in 24k Gold applied by hand in our own studio.

Both the Mug and the Scuttle are made one at a time to order and additional time should be allowed when ordering. Please allow 3 days in addition to our normal shipping time.

Personalized or Custom Decorated items are not returnable. We regret that we cannot provide decorating of items not purchased from us or purchased previously.
