Beefy factory-edge blade is 15/16 wide, double-shouldered and unmarked on both sides. Tang is engraved with "61" and "REGELDSO" on one side, reverse tang is engraved with two male heads in profile on each side of what look like crossed bugles over a double flag and the words "SOLINGEN" and "MADE IN GERMANY". Tang is jimped on both the top and bottom. Blade falls center to its scales. Scales appear to be a cream-colored resin and have a silver metal decal with the word "MAUSER" and the see-no-evil, hear-no-evil, speak-no-evil monkeys above it. Black resin scale wedge.
