Only by shaving with a properly sharpened razor can one appreciate the optimal quality, comfort, and closeness of a straight razor shave. Whether hand-honing your razor is an art you have not yet mastered or a chore you prefer not to do, help is at hand.
We will sharpen your straight razor and restore its shaving sharp edge using the same time-honored and proven Hand-Honing, Lapping, and Stropping Techniques employed by professional barbers for over 400 years. This service applies to razors which have become dull through normal use and require "routine resharpening" only. Since our sharpening shop is not located with our shipping center we will be shipping the razor from California to the sharpening service. Please add an additional week onto the expected delivery of your sharpened razor. A new razor and sharpening service for this razor may now be placed on the same order. Please no express deliveries.

After sharpening we will return your shave-ready razor directly to you by mail. Typical in-shop turn around time for routine sharpening is 10-14 days. Please understand that USPS shipping time (to the sharpening service, and from the sharpening service) is not included in the aforementioned time estimate.
The cost of standard sharpening is $19.99 per razor.
