The Stand
Our American Made Stand has an opening which accommodates the unusually large brush. Made entirely of mirror-polished Heavy Duty Steel and heavily bottom-weighted for stability, it is designed expressly for a set of this calibre. As handsome and durable as it is practical.
The Razor
This Genuine Ebony handled Straight Razor is among DOVO's most popular models. It's beauty is in its simplicity, plain All Natural Ebony Handle and Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Blade.
The blade begins as a Forged Surgical Stainless Steel blank that is then Ice Tempered for Hardness. Next a Master Craftsman shapes and grinds it into a 5/8 Hollow Ground semi-finished blade. Its finishing is completed by adding File Jimps to the underside of the shank, Brand Stamping the shank front and rear, and adding a 24k Gold Etched Brand to the front of the Blade. Finally it gets its final polishing and sharpening.
Every bit of the many generations of experience that went into this razor's making is immediately evident when you hold it in your hand. And rest assurred - It will provide the finest shave possible for many generations to come.
