These  5/8 razors are produced entirely from new forgings of C135 Steel. A Thiers Issard straight razor exhibits a level of quality in the forging and finishing unequaled by any other razor. The set's all natural boxwood handles are inlayed with various hunting and outdoor scenes in snakewood. No two of these hand-made razors are exactly alike. The spines are uniquely decorated in a way that can only be found in sets and is not sold separately. The blade is mirrored polished.

The Full Hollow Ground 5/8 square point blade is polished to a mirror finish front and rear and bears our exclusive "Bijou de France" (Gem of France) trademark hand applied in 24k gold on the front blade surface. The seven razors come in a Thiers-Issard "Surgeon Style" Roll-up Seven Razor case made of  soft Baragnia leather.
