This handmade strop is custom crafted by a legend in mile-high Idyllwild, California. The locals call him Mountain Mike. He designed the strop for use by both novice and veteran straight razor shavers.
Strop measures 2" x 17" and is actually two seperate strops joined together at the top with a nickel plated swivel clasp at top and heavy duty D rings at the ends One is made of Prime Quality Red or Black Latigo Leather and the second of a nylon webbing. This gorgeous razor is forged of the best quality Sheffield Silver Steel and beautifully finished with a perfectly smooth, rounded back. Razor is polished to a mirror finish, then the Thiers Issard exclusive "Loup et Belier" trademark is applied in 24k gold to blade's front surface. File jimps on the lower edge of shank, provide a secure grip. The finished blade is then mated to a fully moisture-proof, blond horn handle and comes with custom leather case.
