The American Mountain Strop with Handles, All Black
This handmade strop is custom crafted by a legend in mile-high Idyllwild, California. The locals call him Mountain Mike. He designed the strop for use by both novice and veteran straight razor shavers.
Strop measures 2" x 17" and is actually two seperate strops joined together at the top with a black steel swivel clasp and heavy duty leather handles at the ends. One is made of prime quality, Black Latigo Leather and the second of a nylon webbing.
This durable, American-made strop will season with age and keep your straight razor "Shaving Sharp" for the life of the razor. Check out Mountain Mike's website.
This fully hollowed "Singing" 5/8 Round Point razor is produced entirely from new forgings. Only the finest Sheffield Silver Steel is used with Thiers Issard's exclusive hardening process which exhibits a level of quality in its forging and finishing unequaled by any other razor. All natural ebony handle frames the hand-sculpted spine with beautiful simplicity. Blade is polished to a mirror finish and bears Thiers Issard's exclusive "Bijou de France" trademark (hand applied in 24k gold) on the front of the blade.
A true collectible as well as a superb everyday shaver.
