A visit to the Thiers Issard straight razor world is a trip through time!  We learned so much, and saw so much old world craftsmanship, pride, dedication, and love of the craft, no longer practiced in most parts of the “civilized world”. 

First off:  to see a “real” “new” straight razor blade blank being forged is an awesome experience – fire, smells, noise!
