Joe Chandler Custom Razors

Joe Chandler offers you the option of deciding all the aspects of your new razor, or allowing him artistic license to make one for you.  When I had an idea for a razor, Joe was extremely helpful in developing my vision without steamrolling me. 

He offers razors in carbon, stainless steel, and pattern wielded, in addition to the Pendray Wootz razor like mine. The experience of placing an order with him is simple, and I will definitely keep him in mind for my next razor. 
 
The razors themselves are built very well.  Joe has a wide range of woods and exotics that can be crafted into scales.  If he doesn't have what your looking for, he can usually obtain it.  The fit and finish of his razors are better than a few Mastro Livi razors that I own.  In addition, you receive your razor as shave ready.  If you believe it needs some fine tuning, you can always send it back for an adjustment.  His honing skills are top notch in my book.  
 
Joe Chandler's custom razors are very conservatively priced.  One would really have to be extravagant to go above $1,000. Usual pricing ranges from $500 - 900, depending on materials.  The only drawback is that the razors do not come in a case or display box; however, he is considering packaging options for the future.
