This 6/8" round point classic cut throat straight razor. Professional barbers only use 1 blade! So should you for the best shave possible. Not only is this one made from real high carbon steel, but it's been hardened. That's right, it's been through the proverbial trial by fire. Short story: hardened steel holds its edge, unlike those "display" razors. The 6/8" blade is easy to maneuver & see. The bottom jimps gives you a good grip. The round point won't inadvertently stab you. At less than 1/6 the price for the same quality shave as a Dovo, Thiers Issard or others it cannot be beat.

    Razor review

Not sure why it's considered a beginner razor. Either way, I like it. It shaves well.

Great Shave from a good Razor

Just a good shave, the time to shave, the preparation, relaxation and honestly nervousness about cutting myself. A couple of mild nicks, a little toilet paper blood stops, and stinging with aftershave later; I was happy with the shave. Yes I needed to use a safety razor to clean-up my shave but I was happy with the results. Loved the smell of smolder, but the lather was great for shaving even better than the smell. I look forward to years of use and keeping a clean shaven face for a couple of months. Then I will grow back my beard for a while

    Great Razor

Only tested it on my forearm so far, but it shaves very well.

    • Have You Ever Tried a Pre-Shave Oil or Lotion? Yes
    • Do you prefer a Shave Soap or Cream? Soap
    • Do you prefer a Safety Razor or Straight Razor? Safety razor when I'm in a hurry and until I get used to using a straight razor. It still kinda spooks me, especially around my neck area.

    I WISH I WASN'T SO, QUICK...

I was really quick to criticize this company in a review that I wish I could find and remove. After a very wonderful interaction with Ms. Kelli at the company, I was embarrassed by my review. It was explained to me that this business, like mine, was impacted negatively by the pandemic and was the reason for my uncommon service. These people are the best and my blades are great! The honing service and attention to detail to their customers is rare in this age. I thank them and endorse them, wholey and respectfully.

    • Have You Ever Tried a Pre-Shave Oil or Lotion? Yes. Not needed as I make only one pass, ever.
    • Do you prefer a Shave Soap or Cream? Soap.
    • Do you prefer a Safety Razor or Straight Razor? Straight razor is my preference.
