The Blades Grim Adjustable Twist to Open Safety Razor features simple and smooth turning adjustable settings for adjusting the razor blade angle to determine how close you want your shave. Rotate the knob under the razor head to adjust the blade gap. 1 = A light shave, perfect for beginners. 2 = A bit more aggressive shave and so on till the most aggressive but still comfortable shave.

Excellent razor

I like the look and feel of the razor. The weight is enough to let you know its not a plastic grocery store failure. The adjustability is allowing me to experiment with the closeness of the shave after spending so much time with electric razors. Nice Razor with Caveats

It's a nice razor. I like the design and operation. One flaw is that it's missing drainage slots on the bottom side of the head. It appears to be a rebranded Weishi, which is available for considerably less elsewhere.

Great razor! Fast shipping

New safety razor arrived today. The wooden coffin is real wood and smells like it was heat-treated for that smoldering smell, which is a nice touch. Nice to have a place to keep it, other than on the medicine cabinet shelf. Razor itself is adjustable on how aggressive you want the shave to be and smoothly glides over my face. This is definitely a step up from my 1st, and only, one I got 11 years ago. Razor is quite a bit heavier, so very little work on my part on the strokes. Also picked up a new soap dish and soap (Bay Rum), as my other one is also 11 years old and was getting pretty cruddy. Always enjoy the quality and selection on the website. Shipping was fast considering it shipped from Idaho to Texas. In fact, I received my items 1 day before the scheduled delivery date. Not bad for free shipping!
