Shaving Soap

The soap did not fit into my Old Spice mug. There is a protrusion that keeps the soap from fitting into the mug, which is surprising as the Old Spice mug has worked on every other soap I have tried. I do like the soap itself, and I will try to carve off the protrusion on the next refill.

  • How long have you been Wet Shaving? 30 years
  • Do you prefer a Safety Razor or Straight Razor? Safety razor.
  • Do you prefer a Shave Soap or Cream? Soap
  • Have You Ever Tried a Pre-Shave Oil or Lotion? No, not am I tempted to.

Good Shave Soap

Better than expected. I’m used to Taylor of Old Bond Street, but I’ve been looking for soap that’s better priced. Classic brand shave soap costs less, works just as well, and doesn’t knock me down with horrible scents. Will buy again.

  • Do you prefer a Safety Razor or Straight Razor? Straight (but I use Safety)
  • Do you prefer a Shave Soap or Cream? Soap
