United StatesI purchased three different blade brands as a sampler. I’m afraid that as of this writing I have not yet tried the Astra blades but I did shave several times with the Shark blades and I have found them to be average. I use a Merkur double edge safety razor and no blade works as good in it as Merkur blades which also seem to be hard to come by. Even the Feather brand blades don’t shave as nice as the Merkur blades. Maybe if I used them in a Feather brand razor they would work better??

United StatesI had stopped using double edged blades because the ones sold at the local grocery chains were of poor quality. I was pleased to find Classic Shaving's wide selection of DE blades. The Astra blades are excellent, especially when teamed up with Classic Shaving's shave soaps. These work so much better than foam from a can. Stock up and enjoy!
