United StatesAll good right out the box. The razor was shaving ready with only light stropping. It needs frequent stropping but it is well worth the money. It’s a great starter set!
I don't have a lot to say because this is my first ever straight razor. It certainly gets the job done. When I opened the package the blade and handle were sticky with some clear fluid, I assume this is just lube for the hinge so I just wiped it off. The strop is the perfect width for the blade. I would definitely recommend this as your first straight razor because its the least expensive and gets the job done. There are even cheaper blades on amazon but judging by the reviews you will likely shred your face with those. I am satisfied with this blade and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
