First Vintage Straight Razor

I’m learning to use a straight razor, and taking it slow! This is a really fine old blade, and I’m very glad I bought it.

How long have you been Wet Shaving? I’ve used a safety razor for 15 years. Just started getting into a Straight Razor
Do you prefer a Safety Razor or Straight Razor? Safety Razor is faster and easier. But, I’m using the Straight Razor on my days off, and still on the learning curve.
Do you prefer a Shave Soap or Cream? I’ve used shave soap and a good brush with the safety razor for many years. I’ve been experimenting with "dry" shave cream.
Have You Ever Tried a Pre-Shave Oil or Lotion? Yes.
